A look at the life and career of Boubacar Traore, a Malian musician. Traore (aka: Kar Kar) was a major radio star in 1960s Mali, but he never released official recordings of his work and hence faded into obscurity. He was "rediscovered" in the 1990s, largely due to the efforts of French & British fans. |
