Summary |
The story of William Wallace, who led his nation into battle against the English in the years around 1300. The quest to free Scotland from English rule is complicated by the machinations of various Scottish nobles, bribes from King Edward, and sly political treachery at the hands of Robert the Bruce, whose father has his own plans to further. Despite being taken prisoner, and put to a traitor's death, William Wallace is remembered to this day as a hero of Scotland. |
