Summary |
"In late 2020 the Inter-Beton concrete plant in Ghent -- the 'Betoncentrale' in the lingo -- was demolished. With this book the cultural department of the city of Ghent, wants to keep the memory of this graffiti paradise alive. A team of experts image editors identified the most important street artists who were active there at the time, providing a selection of the work that adorned the walls of the plant. Street art expert Tristan Manco situates the local scene in its international context while street art blogger Giulia Riva talked to the artists about their memories of that unique place.
