Summary When the projectionist Don Toribio Mujica dies, his two sons, Gumaro and Archimboldo, must return to Guepez to hear the will. Don Cuino, the mayor of the city, is in charge of reading the will for the brothers. Archimboldo, the firstborn, gets the house and Gumaro gets the cinema Linterna Mujica. Upon learning of their inheritance, Archi and Gumaro become enemies and start a war that will destroy the city.
