Summary Egypt, 48 B.C. Cleopatra is facing palace revolt in her kingdom. She decides to embrace the arrival of Julius Caesar as a way of solidifying her power under Roman rule. When Caesar is led astray by Cleopatra and is killed, she transfers her affections to Marc Antony. She does all that she can to dazzle Marc on a barge fit for a king. But her trick may not work this time around. A web of royal deception and betrayal.
